The First Wave of AI (Artificial Intelligence) Leaders

You will need to build new AI skills if you want to remain competitive and relevant.
You will need to build new AI skills if you want to remain competitive and relevant.

A country’s system refers to the political, economic, social, and institutional framework that governs a nation. It encompasses the structures and mechanisms through which a country operates and interacts with its citizens, businesses, and external entities.

You can no longer “not know”, “kinda know”, or “don’t understand” your country’s systems.

A country system is made up of a:

  • Political System

  • Economic System

  • Legal System

  • Infrastructure System

  • International Relations System

You have Rights in your country’s system. Those rights include:

  • Political Rights

  • Civil Rights

  • Economic Rights

  • Social Rights

  • Legal Rights

These rights are written in your country's constitution or legal framework. It may vary depending on the political system.

Some countries guarantee more expansive rights, while others may limit them under certain conditions.

Artificial Intelligence or AI has been introduced into our society. This intersects with our civil, political, economic, social, and legal rights.

The impact of AI on our human rights will depend on how the governments, corporations, and individuals of today implement and regulate them tomorrow.

You must be AI literate to join in those conversations. You must understand the language to read the book. This is a reason why you must become AI literate.

AI is reshaping the workforce. It is automating tasks, increasing productivity and creating new job opportunities.

AI will automate jobs. It will particularly affect industries like:

Manufacturing

Customer Service

Retail

Fast Food

Administrative Roles

If your role is routine, repetitive, low-skill, or simple, you will need to reskill or upskill.

You will need to build technical skills, digital literacy, creative and strategic thinking, and soft skills if you want to remain competitive and relevant.

AI will impact the wage gap- highly skilled AI-related jobs may pay more, while low-skill jobs will face stagnation.

The key for you is to adapt, upskill, and leverage AI as a tool rather than seeing it as a threat. This is a reason why you must become AI literate.

If you are reading this, you compose of the first wave of AI-literate leaders. You play a crucial role in shaping how communities, businesses, and governments understand, adapt to, and use AI for societal benefit. You will bridge the digital divide.

Early AI adopters can democratize AI literacy by making it accessible to underrepresented and economically disadvantaged communities.

We are here to prepare our communities early for the benefits of new job creation, AI-driven businesses, and automation efficiencies. We will develop education programs that help people reskill and stay competitive in the job market.

The leaders who learn AI now will have the power to influence AI’s impact on society—whether it benefits everyone or just a select few. By understanding AI early, we can protect, prepare, and empower our communities for the future.

This is a reason why you must become AI literate.
